The Home Hub is a small device that talks to your larger ones. Plug it in, connect to wifi and your appliances, then configure your preferences. We build tomorrow's plan each night, based on your preferences; the Hub runs the day's plan and orchestrates the appliances on its own hardware.
You plug it into power and your network, connect your machines once, and it takes over the timing: when the heat pump runs, when the water heater reheats, when the car charges. There is nothing to install and no versions to keep track of. When you want a different answer than the one it picked, you override it and it plans around you the next night.

What runs inside the box
The Hub carries a full home automation stack that we assemble, test and update as one unit: Home Assistant Core as the engine, Z-Wave and Matter radios to reach your devices, a local message broker so Satellites in the same house can attach to it, and our own interface on top. We assemble it, we test it, and we keep it running.
Nothing on the Hub updates itself piece by piece. Software changes when we ship a new bundle that has been tested end to end, which is the same reason you never see a setup wizard or a plugin store on it.
Where the planning happens
The optimizer builds tomorrow's plan every night. That is where your utility's prices for the next day, the weather forecast and your home's thermal model come together. Your home runs today's plan on its own hardware.
Where it is today
The Hub is built and tested as a unit, and it is not on sale yet. There is no price and no order page. The beta list is the way in: everyone on it hears before we open it up, and we will tell you what it costs at the same time we tell you it is ready.

Home Hub Plus is a non-invasive device for the wires in your breaker panel, so the Hub can see what circuits are actually drawing. Informs savings beyond just the machines connected to the Hub.
Today the Hub knows what the machines connected to it are doing. Home Hub Plus will add a sensor at your breaker panel, so it will also see what every major circuit is drawing, including the loads nothing is scheduling.
It is early. We are still choosing the hardware, there is no ship date, and there is no installer network. We are not taking orders for it and we are not arranging installation for anyone. Its beta list is separate from the Hub's on purpose, so wanting panel-level visibility is a signal we can read on its own.
